Agua Viva Espumante Bruto Niepoort 2017

Niepoort Agua Viva Espumante Bruto 2017 is a vintage blanc de noirs sparkling wine from the Bairrada region of Portugal. Produced from native grape varieties growing on clay-limestone soil in the Cantanhede sub-region of Bairrada, this traditional-method sparkling wine was aged on lees for 48 months before disgorgement. Producer note. "A subtly expressive bouquet of aromas reveals a lushness of wild forest fruits such as cherries and redcurrant, accompanied by delicate floral nuances and gentle hints of herbs. A touch of brioche and hazelnut provide finesse to the wine. On the palate, an exquisitely balanced interplay between astringency and bitterness is accompanied by a graceful structure, delicacy, subtleness, and sparkle."
