ALS Assyrtiko 2021

ALS Assyrtiko 2021 is a full-bodied white wine produced from Assyrtiko grapes in the Cyclades Islands of Greece. ALS is a new project started by three young winemaking friends, Yiannis Papaoikonomou (formerly of Domaine Sigalas and Hatzidakis on Santorini), Ilias Roussakis (Vassaltis Winery) and Alexis Kolovos. The wine is produced from a meticulous selection of grape bunches from vines growing in their vineyard on the volcanic island of Santorini. Aged on lees in steel tank for 12 months and a further 16 months in bottle, this is an extremely limited-production wine and one of the most profound expressions of Santorini Assyrtiko available.
