Aubert UV-SL Chardonnay 2022 is a full-bodied, single-vineyard white wine from the Sonoma Coast of California. Aubert is a boutique Chardonnay and Pinot Noir estate that produces wine from single-vineyard sites in Napa Valley and Sonoma. Founded by husband-and-wife Mark and Teresa Aubert in 1999, it is regarded to be one of California’s cult wine labels. Situated six miles from the Pacific Ocean, UV-SL is one of only a few vineyards in the far western reaches of the Sonoma Coast. Producer note. "The 2022 UV-SL Chardonnay is dense and lively, with effusive aromas of bosc galette, lime leaf, and candied green apple. The high altitude, far-coastal nature of the vineyard is reflected in the taught citron and sea spray aromatics and nervy minerality and acidity at the core of the wine. These fresh elements juxtapose the natural density and richness of the vintage, carrying the wine across its long, persistent finish. The purity and length of its composition will effortlessly carry the wine in the cellar for the coming 10 to 15 years. The wine is slightly hazy showing our commitment to minimal intervention winemaking."
