Brij Wines Syrah 2022

Brij Wines Syrah 2022 is a medium-bodied red wine from the Central Coast of California. Brij is the Californian négociant label of former sommelier and wine consultant Raj Parr (also a partner of Domaine de la Côte and Sandhi in California and Evening Land in Oregon). The project is based on Phelan Farm in Cambria, a cool-climate area close to the Pacific Ocean. Raj Parr controls the whole process of making Phelan Estate wines – from the vineyard to the cellar. His vines are managed regeneratively and he works with as little intervention as possible in the cellar, without sulphur additions. The 2022 Brij Syrah is fermented with whole bunches and matured in used 500l oak barrels.
