Gaja is a renowned producer of Barbaresco and Barolo wines. The Gaja family purchased a controlling stake in Pieve di Santa Restituta in Montalcino in 1994. Since then the family has been making Brunello wines in its trademark style. think elegantly structured reds with rich fruit flavours with lots of smoke and earth. "Subtly toasty nose shows ripe cherry, sweet raspberry and cedar notes and a hint of licoricey. Medium-full body. Ripe, focused, black cherry and pungent mineral flavours.
