Caol Ila Distiller`s Edition (2022 Release)

Since 1997, the Distillers Editions have been an annual release in limited quantities, remaining true to their origins while offering a rich depth, complexity, and nuanced flavour not typically found in the regular releases. This exceptional Caol Ila whisky underwent initial maturation in Refill American and European Oak casks. The second maturation was completed in Moscatel-seasoned, re-charred American Oak with heavily re-charred new AO ends. Expect layers of soft fruit and warming spices interweaving with the distillery`s smoky, clean character.
