Château Kirwan 2005 is a mature, full-bodied, Cabernet Sauvignon-based red wine from the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux. The 2005 release from this renowned 3ème Grand Cru Classé property is a classically styled blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 7% Petit Verdot. Displaying the excellent characteristics of the vintage, it is exuberant, exotic and generous, with abundant notes of crème de cassis, black cherry, coffee, tar, truffles and graphite.
