First Growth Château Latour is one of the oldest wine properties in the appellation of Pauillac, with a history dating back to the 14th century. Today, the vineyard is predominantly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, representing approximately 80% of the varietals, followed by Merlot and minor proportions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. This exceptionally rare bottle hails from the 1959 vintage, a legendary year for Bordeaux that yielded a wealth of superb, long-lived wines.
