Macallan 25 Year Old Sherry Oak (2023 Release)

A glorious single malt with an opulent character, this 25-year-old Macallan was masterfully influenced by the use of European oak seasoned with sherry from Jerez de la Frontera. Left to mature undisturbed for a remarkable quarter of a century, it was then bottled at 43% ABV. Expect aromas of dried orange slices, raisins, sultanas, and apricot complemented by ginger syrup and oak. On the palate, it delivers a wealth of rich dried fruits, black cherries, and chocolate, accentuated by hints of crystallized ginger and toasted almonds. The grand finale is a long-lasting finish with subtle touches of oak.
