Pichon Comtesse Reserve 2020 is the highly regarded second wine of Pauillac Second Growth Château Pichon Lalande. Previously known as Reserve de la Comtesse, Pichon Comtesse Reserve contains an unusually high percentage of Merlot for a Left Bank Bordeaux, and in exceptional vintages is regarded by some to reach a `Grand Vin` level of quality. The 2020 vintage is a blend of 47% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot. "Much like the grand vin, the 2020 Resèrve de la Comtesse is charming and polished, bursting with aromas of dark berries, plums, rose petals and mint.
