Vega Sicilia Unico 2013

The Vega Sicilia Único 2013 is a blend of 97% Tempranillo and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon, boasting a slightly lower alcohol content at 14% ABV. The wine underwent a maturation process in 225-liter barrels during its initial phase, followed by further refinement in 22,000-liter oak vats until its bottling in June 2019. In comparison to its 2012 predecessor, the 2013 vintage displays a lighter density, yet it expresses itself with heightened subtlety and eloquence. The wine captivates with its clean and fresh nature, offering delectable flavours complemented by exceptionally fine tannins. It stands as one of the finest creations in recent years from the Vega Sicilia estate.
