Italian! Originally from Lombardy, I started my career in the drinks business with my family who are wine suppliers as soon as I finished school. I pursued my sommelier certification to continue my education in wine, followed by the WSET level 3. Once I moved to England, I started to work in hospitality, from 5-star hotels to private members clubs and restaurants in between. I first joined the company at our sister restaurant HIDE, but when I first set foot in Hedonism, I knew that’s the only place I wanted to work!

I have recently been interested in exploring the different crus in Barolos and Barbaresco. Such a great diversity in style still remains undiscovered in such a well-known area. I particularly enjoy old vintages, especially those still older than me!

Outside of work, I love to travel and taste wines all over the world. Visiting wineries gives one a special look at wines, more of a background as you can see with your own eyes the process, the people working, and all the components that come together to create great wine. I also enjoy long walks on the beach with dogs.
