The 2007 Aalto presents fantastic aromas of crushed dark berries, earth, spice, leather, and vanilla on the nose. With a full-bodied and plush texture, the palate combines notes of tobacco and pencil shavings with ripe plum and boysenberry fruit. The wine has plenty of depth and focus, well-integrated silky tannins and finishes on a slightly mineral note.
