Aalto Bodegas y Viñedos was established in 1999 in Ribera del Duero, one of Spain’s most prestigious wine regions right now. Aalto is a partnership between Javier Zaccagnini and winemaker Mariano García, who worked at the iconic Vega Sicilia for 30 years. Their flagship wine, simply known as ‘Aalto’ is highly acclaimed and has garnered international praise. It is crafted primarily from Tempranillo, also known as Tinto Fino or Tinta del País.
