Apros is a relatively new vermouth producer based in the Black Forest, Germany. It is the brainchild of the young entrepreneur Matthias Sasse, who recruited a restaurateur and a oenologist to join the team. The rosé expression is based on a blend of Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, infused with rosemary, pink pepper, orange peel and angelica root. The result is a slightly spicy vermouth, with a herbal core and notes of bitter orange.
