Ata Rangi Pinot Noir 2020 is a medium-bodied red wine from Martinborough region of New Zealand. Ata Rangi is renowned for its Pinot Noir and is widely regarded as New Zealand’s top producer in this category. Only the oldest and best parcels of grapes are used in this limited release Pinot Noir. The legendary ‘Abel clone’, supposedly brought in from Burgundy in the 1970s, makes up 40% of the blend and gives a complex, beautifully scented and structured wine. The 2020 was produced with 40% whole bunches and wad matured for 11 months in 35% new French oak.
