Aubert’s 2021 CIX Pinot Noir is a full-bodied wine with a grounded, earthy character. It opens with heady aromas of marionberry, kirsch, and blood orange. With time, more complex earth-driven tones of Ceylon tea, oyster shell, and sous bois emerge. These hallmark earthy tones are the result of the wine`s unique terroir, which is characterized by elusive white volcanic soils. The wine has a polished tannic structure that is well-balanced by its full body. Best enjoyed from 2024 to 2036.
