A.A. Badenhorst is a relatively new wine producer, owned by cousins Hein and Adi Badenhorst. Based in the Swartland region of South Africa, the estate covers approximately 28 hectares of mostly old bush vines. This Cinsault comes from a single vineyard that was planted in 1963 on decomposed granite soils. A beautifully scented wine, with sour red cherry and hedgerow flowers. The palate shows a real depth of fruit, with a light grip and refreshing acidity.
