A fully mature vintage Barbaresco from one of the pre-eminent names of Nebbiolo winemaking, Giacomo Conterno. Conterno riservas were one of the first examples of producer-bottled wines in Piedmont, at a time when most wine from the region was either sold in bulk or in small demijohns for early consumption. Classic in style, these are powerful Nebbiolos which become haunting and opulent with time in bottle.
