Prunotto Barolo Riserva Bussia di Monforte 1970 is a mature-vintage Nebbiolo red wine from the Barolo appellation of Piedmont, northern Italy. One of the iconic names of Barolo, Prunotto produced its first vintage in 1905. The property makes rich, complex Nebbiolos which over time are notable for their fine texture and elegance. Although overshadowed by the spectacular 1971 vintage, 1970 was a generally excellent vintage in Piedmont, producing full-bodied and ripe-flavoured Nebbiolo wines with good ageing potential.
