Distilled and aged over 50 years in oak before being transferred to a glass demijohn, this 1900 Baron de Sigognac is a proof of Armagnac’s ageing potential. On the nose, there are aromas of parma violets, spiced varnished oak and orange marmalade. The palate is dry yet rich and vibrant, featuring dried fruits and more violets.
