Baron de Sigognac is almost unique in Gascony as all of its production is distilled into armagnac and not still wines. Today the family business is run by father and son team Jean-Claude and Thomas who look after every step of the viticulture, vinification and distillation. This 1980 vintage release is made from distilled Bacco and Ugni Blanc grapes and aged in local Gascon oak, which gives richness and structure to this mature brandy.
