Clos de la Mousse is a premier cru vineyard in Beaune and a monopole of Domaine Bouchard Père and Fils, who makes this single cuvée from Pinot Noir. Since 1872 they own tis 3.36-hectare walled vineyard situated on terraces above dense clay soil. The wine is both fleshy and refined, combining fruit aromas with light toasty notes. It is approachable now but has great ageing potential.
