Founded in 2013, Benevolent Neglect is the brainchild of Benjamin Brenner and Matt Nagy, both originally from Boston. Their mission was to craft minimal intervention wines from small, terroir-expressive vineyards. This Syrah is sourced from the famed Las Madres vineyard in Carneros, fermented naturally, with full stem inclusion. Expect notes of dark berries, purple flowers, hints of tea leaves and black olives.
