Caroni Full Proof Nita Nitz Hogan Velier 2000

Caroni Full Proof Nita Nitz Hogan Velier is an age-statement heavy rum produced at the Caroni Distillery in Trinidad. This special release is part of independent bottler Velier`s Caroni Employees series, and honours Nita `Nitz`, Hogan who worked at the distillery for 30 years until its closure in 2003. The blend was selected at the Demerara Distillers warehouses in 2019. Just eight casks from the year 2000 were selected. These had been matured in Trinidad until 2008, then were further aged in Guyana for 10 years before bottling in 2020.
