Domaine Ponsot Chapelle-Chambertin 2002 is a Grand Cru Burgundy Pinot Noir from the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation of the Côte de Nuits. Located just below Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze, Gevrey`s most prestigious climat, Chapelle-Chambertin produces wines which are often lighter in colour than their neighbours, but which lack nothing in power, opulence and complexity. "There is good complexity on the high-toned red fruit nose cut with an almost pungently earthy character followed by a very fresh, intense and precise palate impression and fine length.
