Originally founded in 1955, Claude Dugat is a boutique Domaine, which is widely considered one of the best producers in Gevrey-Chambertin. Claude Dugat is the cousin of another well-regarded Burgundy producer, Bernard Dugat, who owns Domaine Dugat-Py. The 1990 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is a very structured and robust wine, boasting notes of dark red fruit, cinnamon, tea leaves, umami and a touch of earthy minerality. Ready to be enjoyed now.
