Sérafin Père et Fils is one of the leading wine producers in Gevrey-Chambertin. The Domaine was originally established in 1947 by a Polish immigrant named Stanislaus Sérafin and it is currently led by third-generation cousins Karin and Frédérique. This release comes from the Grand Cru Charmes-Chambertin, where they own a precious 0.31-hectare plot. Now approaching 30 years of age, the 1994 vintage is more savoury than fruity, revealing hints of forest floor and underbrush.
