Domaine Bachelet-Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet Les Ruchottes 1998 is a mature-vintage Burgundy white wine from the Premier Cru climat of Les Ruchottes in the Chassagne-Montrachet commune of the Côte de Beaune. "Impressively focused fruit with citrus and orchard fruit notes complemented by oak spice and medium weight, concentrated and nicely nuanced flavours. This is still rather tight and while it`s not hard, it doesn`t seem quite as harmonious as it usually does. This is a wine I would very much like to retaste in a few years to see if it sorts itself out as there is excellent underlying material." Burghound, 2001
