Founded in the late 1920s by Pierre Ramonet, Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet is one of the finest producers of white Burgundy today. Situated in Chassagne-Montrachet, the estate is currently overseen by the talented Noël Ramonet and his brother Jean-Claude. This particular offering is their 2011 interpretation of Les Ruchottes, a Premier Cru vineyard nestled within the Chassagne-Montrachet appellation. While the 2011 vintage in Burgundy wasn`t exceptional overall, notable producers like Ramonet still managed to craft commendable, age-worthy wines.
