The 2009 `Signature` cuvée from Domaine La Barroche combines 66% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 13% Mourvèdre, and 6% Cinsault. On the nose, there are pronounced aromas of sweet cherries and red currants. The palate mirrors the richness in the mid-red spectrum, prominently featuring red currants with added complexity. Tannins are present but smoothly integrated, achieving a well-balanced interplay with the fruit. The wine maintains a refreshing character, supported by just the right level of acidity.
