Chêne Bleu Abélard 2015 is a full-bodied red wine from the Ventoux region of the southern Rhône Valley. Located in the Dentelles de Montmirail, of Gigondas fame, Chêne Bleu is a family-owned, single estate that produces meticulously handcrafted wines from the highest vineyard in the region. This robust Grenache blend was named after the famed philosopher Pierre Abélard to reflect its forceful, brooding intensity. The wine is biodynamic and has the ageing potential of 25-30 years.
