Clio 2021

Bodegas El Nido emerged from a collaboration between the Gil family of Bodegas Juan Gil, and Australian winemaker Chris Ringland, with the shared objective of producing outstanding wines. Their distinctive blend draws from established vineyards featuring Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and old-vine Monastrell from the mountain valleys North of Jumilla. Clio highlights the expressive nature of Monastrell, enhanced by the inclusion of Cabernet and Syrah. Carefully chosen parcels undergo ageing in a combination of new American and French oak barrels. It caters to enthusiasts seeking a full-bodied and concentrated experience in bold red wines.
