Founded by a former pastry chef, Dominique Laurent is a boutique, high-quality négociant based in Nuits-Saint-Georges. From his very first vintage in 1988, Dominique has specialised in handcrafted Burgundy made from very old vineyards which are tended by local vignerons. This particular release comes from Clos Saint-Denis, a Grand Cru vineyard situated in Morey-Saint-Denis. 2002 was a particularly good vintage for Pinot Noir, showing notes of forest fruit and strawberries.
