Michel Magnien is a biodynamic wine producer based in Morey-Saint-Denis. The domaine comprises 18 hectares of vines across 23 appellations and is currently run by Michel`s son, Frédéric Magnien. This particular cuvée is from Clos Saint-Denis, a grand cru vineyard that lies between the village of Morey-Saint-Denis to the south and Gevrey-Chambertin to the north, where the slope is very steep. The wines here are typically elegant and harmonious with aromas of red and dark fruit.
