Cloudy Bay Te Wahi Pinot Noir 2014 is a mature single-vineyard Pinot Noir red wine from the Central Otago region of New Zealand. Cloudy Bay is the renowned winery in New Zealand that has played a significant role in putting the country`s wines on the international map. Founded in 1985 by David Hohnen and Kevin Judd, Cloudy Bay’s first vintage was released in 1988 and was an immediate success. Te Wahi means ‘the place’ in Maori, reflecting the importance of terroir to Cloudy Bay`s wines. This is a powerful Pinot with an opulent core of dark berry fruit and structured tannins. Over time, warm spices and notes of forest floor flourish and provide complexity.
