Código 1530 is an independent tequila brand that has now expanded into the mezcal category. The ‘Ancestral’ expression is entirely made by hand, without any machines or automation in its production. The agave is mashed manually, using a wooden stick and distillation takes place in clay pots. Expect notes of honey, tobacco, vanilla, melon and hazelnut, with a touch of salty minerality.
