Grand Cru
Burgundy, France
Situated in Pernand-Vergelesses, Domaine Bonneau du Martray is the only estate in Burgundy to make wines exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards, Corton and Corton-Charlemagne. In 2017 the property was acquired by American businessman Stanley Kroenke, who also owns Screaming Eagle in Napa Valley. 2003 will be remembered in Burgundy for its ferocious heatwave, but the best producers managed to make spectacular wines from that unusual vintage.
