Formed in 1797, Domaine Louis Latour covers approximately 48 hectares of vineyard, including 27 hectares of Grand Cru sites. The estate is centred in the village of Aloxe-Corton which has been the Latour`s family home since the inception of the house. This release comes from the Grand Cru Corton-Charlemagne, where Latour owns 10.5 hectares. 1996 was an excellent vintage throughout the region, delivering wines that combine purity of flavour with spot-on ripeness and firm acidity.
