Currently owned by French entrepreneur Michel Reybier, Cos d`Estournel is the highly regarded wine producer situated in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Médoc. Most of its releases are high scorers among the critics, making it a particularly appealing wine for collectors and investors. The 1970 vintage has aged beautifully, with plenty of sous bois, pencil lead, fruit compote of prunes and redcurrants.
