Craggy Range Le Sol Magnum 2005

Craggy Range Le Sol 2005 is a full-bodied Syrah red wine from the Gimblett Gravels sub-region of Hawke`s Bay, New Zealand. Founded in 1997, Craggy Range sets the benchmark for terroir-driven New Zealand wines. This example from the greywacke stone-based soils of Gimblett Gravels – an increasingly prized red wine-producing vineyard area 12 miles inland from the Pacific coast – was fermented using 65% whole bunches and aged for 17 months in 38% new French oak barriques.
