Cullen Grace Madeline 2020

Cullen Grace Madeline 2020 is a barrel-aged Sauvignon Blanc blend from the Margaret River of Australia. Named in honour of winemaker Vanya Cullen`s mother and maternal grandmother, the Cullen Grace Madeline is produced from certified-biodynamically farmed old vines planted on their own roots. The 2020 blend is 93% Sauvignon Blanc with 7% of Semillon. Producer note. "The 2020 vintage produced low yields but beautiful fruit quality, leading to wines of effortless grace. This excellent fruit quality enabled complexity in the winemaking. The Sauvignon Blanc was whole bunch basket pressed, with whole bunch amphorae skin contact fermentation, creating phenolic tension and mouthfeel with beautiful texture on the palate. The Semillon component was crushed with four days of skin contact. The wine was barrel-aged for six months in 68% new oak."
