Giorgio Dalla Cia, the trailblazer of the Bordeaux blend in South Africa while at Meerlust Estate, has passed on the torch to his son George, who now upholds the tradition from their base in Stellenbosch. Presenting a left-bank Bordeaux style blend, this wine places Cabernet Sauvignon at the forefront, complemented by Merlot and a hint of Petit Verdot. Anticipate notes of blueberries, cherries, violets and tobacco leaf, complemented by spicy cedar wood, all culminating in a generous, satisfying finish. This bottle is destined to gracefully mature over time.
