Dixeebe is the latest mezcal brand crated by the father-and-son team Valentín and Asís Cortés, who are based in the Santiago Matatlán region of Oaxaca. This is the 4th edition of ‘Cuishe’, one of the four inaugural releases. The maguey used in the mezcal is cooked in an underground pit oven, milled by tahona, and double distilled in a copper still. Expect notes of pepper, green leaves, tropical fruits and floral elements.
