The Sadie Family is a renowned producer situated in the Swartland region of South Africa, celebrated for its exceptional wines made from traditional Rhône grape varieties. This particular release is a single-vineyard Cinsault, sourced from vines planted in 1973 on the slopes of Kasteelberg Mountain. The winemaking process involves whole-bunch fermentation, with the grapes being fermented and macerated with the skins for a month in an open-top fermenter. Following this, the wine is aged for a year in an older oak cask, resulting in a ABV of 14%.
