A wonderful release from Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé estate, Château Faugères, the 2016 is a blend of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 50% new and 50% one-year-old barrels for 15 months. Boasting a rich, ripe-fruited profile of ripe plums and dark cherries, with minty, leather complexity, concluding on a beautifully long finish. Sold in marvellous large format.
