Lucien Le Moine is a small, independent wine merchant founded by Mounir and Rotem Saouma in 1999. They specialize in sourcing top-tier wines from Burgundy and Beaujolais, which they then age in their vaulted cellar in Beaune. There is no winemaking involved as the wines reach them after fermentation. This release comes from Fleurie, arguably the most famous cru in Beaujolais. Ripening here is slow and steady, leading to a balance of acidity and flavour in the grapes.
