Frontonio La Cerqueta Garnacha 2020 is a medium-bodied red wine produced in Valdejalón in the Aragon region of Spain. Frontonio is the joint-venture of Spanish Master of Wine Fernando Mora and oenologist Mario López. The pair work with dryfarmed mountain Garnacha bushvines growing on slate soils in this lesser-known wine region of Spain. Aged in use foudres for 14 months, this wonderfully complex, elegant Garnacha displays aromas of raspberries, incense and smoky garrigue herbs. Refreshing acidity gives drive to the firm-tannined palate.
