Gagliole 2007 is a full-bodied Supertuscan red wine produced in the Chianti Classico region of Tuscany, central Italy. Gagliole is a 20ha Chianti estate located in Castellina and founded by husband and wife team, Monika and Thomas Bär, in 1990. "Deep coloured. Beautifully smooth, pure raspberry and blackberry fruit nose, which is incredibly lush but avoids being jammy. The palate shows sleek, fresh red berry and blackberry fruit with lovely purity and a subtle spicy edge. This is a very modern, accessible style of Chianti." Jamie Goode, 2009
