Gevrey Chambertin Cuvee de l`Abeille Domaine Ponsot 1993

Domaine Ponsot Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvee de l`Abeille 1993 is a mature-vintage Burgundy red wine from the Gevrey-Chambertin commune of the Côte de Nuits. Domaine Ponsot is one of the most respected producers in Burgundy and has a great track record of innovation, being one of the first to practise estate bottling in the 1930s. All fruit is sorted in the vineyard prior to hand-harvesting ensuring only the finest quality bunches are used and maturation is only ever in used barrels. This sought-after cuvée is produced from a small parcel of Pinot Noir vines in Les Epointures, a lieu-dit near Chapelle-Chambertin.
